There is more than one way to take part.

What you can do today

None of these requires money, registration, or telling us about it.

• Think of us. This is captured by our “moments of attention” indicator and, unlike most forms of support, is available immediately.
• Mention us to someone. Preferably to someone who will ask what exactly it is that we do. Such questions are useful to us.
• If you already do something similar, continue. We count this as participation and ask for no confirmation.
• Hold the door. Formally this falls outside our programmes; in substance it is precisely the same thing.

Volunteering

Volunteer intake is temporarily closed while we determine what volunteers would do. This work is being carried out under Programme Six.

In-kind support

At present we have everything we need. We are aware that this is an unusual answer; it is nevertheless the accurate one.

Corporate partnership

Write to hello@plusone.charity. We reply to all correspondence in order of arrival. Our average response time over the last period was acceptable.

Where do donations go?

At present, nowhere, as we are not accepting them. When we resume, they will go to the programmes, as they did previously.

Can I choose a specific programme?

We have never accepted restricted gifts: the allocation between programmes is determined by the collegium according to where funds are most needed. Determining where they are most needed is a separate task, and one that is carried out continuously.

Do you issue receipts?

This will be settled in the revised framework, together with the resumption of giving.

What if I want to give money right now?

We ask you not to. Support instead an initiative near you that needs money today. That is entirely consistent with our mission, and we will regard it as participation in our work — though we will, of course, be unable to record it.
